Christmas in New York

Christmas in New York

Christmas in New York is the magic we’ve all heard of. And I was fortunate enough to experience it. New York always seemed like an incredible place to visit, but I’d never really thought much about going at Christmas time. That was, until I heard someone talking about visiting at Christmas, and a lightbulb switched on. Christmas films I love are set in New York– Elf, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone 2! It’s an iconic place to be. I wanted to see snow in Central Park, the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center and see the Ball Drop in Times

I’m not impressed by this year’s Christmas Ads. But here are my all time favourites!

I’m not impressed by this year’s Christmas Ads. But here are my all time favourites!

Christmas adverts coming on, along with the Christmas drinks in coffee shops, signals a true beginning of the Christmas season. I love watching these, but this year I was underwhelmed. From the 2018 ads I’ve seen so far I love Kevin the Carrot’s expanding family and particularly the advert pretending to be the Coca-Cola Christmas lorry… I also loved the adorable story of the Heathrow Bears travelling home for Christmas. And I found Very’s ad where the young girl gets an astronaut helmet and goes on to become an astronaut very inspiring! But I don’t think any 2018 ads really

Solo Travel: A Single Girl’s Guide to Philadelphia

This summer I visited Philadelphia for the first time. I was only there for a short time but I packed a lot into my visit. Here are my Philadelphia Top Sights: The Historic Side Being from the UK, my knowledge of American History is pretty poor. But I still had a ague understanding of the significance of the Independence Hall and Liberty Bell, both of which can be found in Philadelphia. Although I liked seeing these things and learnt a lot, they were probably the least exciting part of my visit! However, they are free so if you have the

TV Review: Killing Eve

TV Review: Killing Eve

By now you’ve hopefully heard of the BBC America Drama ‘Killing Eve’. This short series focuses on the hired killer Villanelle and Security Officer Eve who has been following this mysterious female killer.┬áThe dynamic between the two female leads is unlike anything I’ve seen before on TV. Eve has always been obsessed with crime stories and the unsolved patterns her higher ups have missed. When she gets the opportunity to join MI5 and investigate murders she believes to be linked there is no way she would say no. But whilst Eve gets ever nearer so does Villanelle. She takes great
